These terms form the agreement between you and BoldFolio. They cover how our services work, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. By using our website or services, you agree to these terms in full.

Our services

BoldFolio is a trading name of Landim IT Tecnologia e Educacao Ltda, registered in Brasilia, Brazil. We provide consulting to validate your project through theboldfolio.com.

The exact scope of every project is defined and agreed upon during onboarding — before any work begins or payment is charged.

Your account

Some features require an account. When you create one, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that takes place under your account.

If you suspect unauthorised access, let us know at contact@theboldfolio.com immediately.

Payments

All prices are listed in USD. Payment is due at the time of project initiation unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing. Transactions are processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details.

Refund policy

We offer a full refund anytime before the deliverables are uploaded to your project area. A refund button is available directly in your project dashboard for your convenience.

Disputes

If something does not look right on your invoice, please contact us at contact@theboldfolio.com before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly.

Intellectual property

What you own

You retain full ownership of every idea, document, and material you share with us. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, project-scoped licence to use it solely for delivering your prototype — nothing more.

What we deliver

Once your project is paid in full, you own the prototype and all deliverables we created for it.

We will never use your project in our portfolio or marketing materials.

Confidentiality

Every project is treated as confidential by default. We will not share your business ideas, project details, or proprietary information with anyone outside our team.

What we are responsible for

We commit to delivering high-quality work within the agreed scope and timeline. However, prototyping is a validation tool — not a guarantee of market success, revenue, or funding outcomes. Our services are provided on an “as is” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Acceptable use

When using our platform, you agree not to:

• Use our services for any purpose that is unlawful or violates these terms.
• Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data that do not belong to you.
• Interfere with the normal operation of our platform.

Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

In either case, rights and obligations that accrued before termination remain in effect — including ownership of paid deliverables and any outstanding payment obligations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Brasilia, Distrito Federal, Brazil, unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
